OUR SUPPORT MEETINGS 


Our meetings are structured to feature a program of interest to our community, along with plenty of time for sharing and discussion. All discussion is confidential.

MEETING LOCATION:  
Chapter meetings are held from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the conference room at Diversity Richmond, located at 1407 Sherwood Avenue behind the Diamond. Diversity has several entrances, so enter the door marked for the Iridian Gallery.  Once inside, turn right and go down a short hallway.  The conference room will be on your right.


UPCOMING MEETINGS

November 13, 2018:
​Our featured speaker will be Roneshe Warren, FNP, MBA, former Director of Clinical Operations at Health Brigade (formerly Fan Free Clinic). Ro will discuss her approach to prescribing hormones for transgender patients and describe the services Health Brigade offers to the LGBTQ+ community. Ro continues to see patients at Health Brigade as a volunteer.

Virginia TIES - October 20, 2018
Don't miss Equality Virginia (EV)'s Virginia Transgender Information and Empowerment Summit (TIES), to be held on Saturday, October 20 at the Parham Road campus of J Sargent Reynolds Community College. You'll have an opportunity to increase your awareness and knowledge of trans issues by attending one of the many workshops that are offered. The summit will also feature a youth corner and a service provider's track. "Ask a Trans Person" Film Screening & Panel Discussion - Wednesday, October 24:
This special EV-sponsored event involves screening part of the documentary “Gender Revolution” followed by a Q&A discussion with members of the local transgender community. Hearing their stories is a step toward building understanding and support. The event will take place from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Swift Creek Mill Theatre, 17401 Jefferson Davis Highway in Chesterfield. Come early for the reception
